Evelyn N. MacIntyre is Senior Advisor and Chief Compliance Officer of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based Capelli Financial Services, Inc., with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. In her role as Senior Advisor, she establishes and maintains client relationships, leads the research and development of lifetime income strategies and serves on the CFS Financial Planning and Investment Committees. Her responsibilities as Chief Compliance Officer include the development, monitoring and updating of the CFS Compliance Program, employee compliance training and annual compliance review, directing the activities of the Compliance Committee and coordination with the CFS compliance legal advisor.
Ms. MacIntyre managed her own financial planning firm from 1994 until 2001, when she merged her practice with Capelli Financial Services. Before that, she was a financial planning associate with Cambridge Connection in Franklin, Michigan, where she was responsible for overseeing the investment program, comprehensive planning and tax preparation. She began her career in the brokerage industry, where she worked for both the former Shearson Lehman, Co. and First of Michigan Corp.
Ms. MacIntyre is chair of the Government Relations Committee, was 2007 President and past Chair of the Career Development Committee for the Financial Planning Association of Michigan. She previously served a three-year term on the National Chapter Leadership Resource Council of the Financial Planning Association and served on the FPA’s Practice Development Task Force.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Oakland University, with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Management. She is also a CFP® certificant.
